I like both fields a lot, but I’m not really looking forward to long years of med school and residency then specialization. I’m also better at learning anatomy than physiology of the whole body.
I haven’t looked much into dentistry, but I would be graduating from either school at 24. Either way that I go, I want to be able to do some surgical work in poorer countries when I travel there.
I like the idea of dentistry and I think that it fits my lifestyle better, but I want to know:
Are there residencies?
Does dental school require as much studying as medical school?
Do you make a good salary in a practice as a dentist?

There are residencies, however you are a fully licensed dentist once you graduate from dental school. You don’t have to do the residencies unless you want to specialize in something. Medical students are required to do at least 1 year of residency called an Internship (though now adays it is more common to do at least 3-5).
No it doesn’t, but that doesn’t mean it is easy. Dentistry is competitive to get into and tough in its own right.
Yes you can make very good money as a dentist.
